In the field of automobile manufacturing, relying on cooperation with China Unicom, domestic automobile enterprises have established the industry's first 5G automobile welding and assembly flexible trial production line, reducing the adjustment time of new model production lines by 90%; leading home appliance manufacturing enterprises have built a world-class 5G-A black light factory by deploying 5G-A industrial base stations; in the field of electrical appliance manufacturing, the world's first 5G+PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) flexible production line has increased the production capacity of a single production line by 12%
The set of data released by China Unicom provides intuitive evidence of how 5G empowers industrial manufacturing: from welding to debugging, from production scheduling to quality control, and from warehousing to logistics, 5G is accelerating its integration into every aspect of industrial production.
The latest data shows that China's 5G applications have been integrated into 86 out of 97 major categories of the national economy, with a total of over 138,000 cases; 64,000 virtual private networks for 5G industries have been deployed, and 1,260 5G factories with advanced technology and distinctive features have been cultivated. There are over 20,000 "5G+Industrial Internet" construction projects nationwide, which have helped traditional industries improve quality and efficiency, and continuously given birth to new models and business forms.
"China has achieved remarkable results in the development of '5G+Industrial Internet': the application has been promoted on a large scale, 5G terminals have been rapidly popularized, and standard construction is globally leading," said Liu Kang, Vice President of Huawei and President of ICT Marketing and Solution Sales. China has taken the lead in formulating the world's first international standard for industrial 5G, as well as specifications such as general requirements for industrial network 5G communication technology, accumulating more than 3 international standards and over 100 national and industry standards. The "5G+Industrial Internet" is accelerating its transformation, and 5G factories are seeing both quality and efficiency improvements.
